After you pass

Pass Plus

Six hours of one-to-one practice once you have passed your practical test. It covers driving that a new licence does not automatically prepare you for.

Town and country roads

Practice on the kinds of roads you will use once you are driving on your own.

Night and poor weather

Time in conditions that a daytime test often never asks you to handle.

Faster roads

Dual carriageways and motorways, with an instructor beside you.

What the course is for

Pass Plus is extra training after the practical test. The usual topics are town driving, country roads, dual carriageways, motorways, night driving and driving in bad weather. It is not a legal requirement, and it does not change the licence you hold.
